Church Cottage, Oxfordshire
This cottage in Oxfordshire was built in the early 19th Century incorporating parts of an earlier building.
The design of this extension enhances the character of the cottage, replacing the previous extensions, that were built in the 1980s and 1990s, with a design that is simple and uncluttered. It provides a visual separation between the original cottage and the new construction. Most of the extension is of a contemporary design with a flat roof and clear minimal glazing. Some of the extension is of a traditional design where it joins the previously existing side lean-to.
